An Arizona newspaper, the Casa Grande Dispatch, reports that Tyler & Eirene Sanstail are wanted in Arizona for allegedly committing a number of sex offenses against their children. The Union-Leader also covered the story here in New Hampshire, but the story did not appear in the online edition.

Several activists have been in touch with Tyler & Eirene, in person and through letters, and they both maintain their innocence, claiming that Eirene’s mother objected to their religious beliefs and child-raising techniques; she was able to gain custody of their children through the courts. Tyler & Eirene left Arizona shortly thereafter and settled in New Hampshire.

As this is an open case and the Sanstails have retained counsel, we will not be reporting on any further details of their defense.
