The staff in the Clerk’s office will be happy to help you. Please remember that the court staff must remain impartial. They do not take sides. They give the same information to both sides in a case.
The NH Bar, an association of all lawyers licensed in New Hampshire, has a Lawyer Referral Service (LRS), a Reduced Fee Referral Program, and a LawLine that provides once-a-week free phone time to ask a lawyer your legal questions.
Links and contact information to agencies that provide a range of services to low-income people across the state, including Legal Advice and Referral Center, New Hampshire Legal Assistance, the Pro Bono Program of the New Hampshire Bar Association, the Disabilities Rights Center, the Civil Practice Clinic at Pierce Law, and the New Hampshire Public Defender.
Located in the Supreme Court building in Concord, it is the only public law library in the state. It provides legal information and related services to members of the public, the legal community, and the branches of government.
